Oh, and as for a myth: How about the myth that all trumpets are cocky, arrogant sons of guns? I know a few who aren't.

No...I'm not buying this one. They are ALL that way.

As the topics says, what are the biggest myths in drum corps?

Reliable Rondo's oft-repeated (by Rondo himself, of course) on-air assertion that the Blue Devils are/were "built for the night" and were a good bet to improve their placement from prelims/semis to finals in the years when they didn't place first on Friday.
