notelvis
Here's another vote for my two personal faves - The Renegades - "Give me a horn and get the hell out of my way" and one the Colts had in 1993 that I wish they would trot out again - It's a grey shirt with the state of Iowa outlined on it. Standing there is a cow wearing a Colts shako and the shirt simply reads "Colts Annual Cornfield Tour" Clever, understated, kind of like the corps it comes from. MetalTones2012
I had an instructor once who wore a Blue Devils shirt. It had a picture of this guy giving the shocker and it said "Know your fingerings!". It's something you just have to admire.
Coaster
Red t-shirt with the SCV sop line marching forward...no words needed. I had one in '88.
JimF-LowBari
Ask jeffsnewjetta and Fran Haring about the Westshoremen Alumni "World Tour" t-shirt. On the back it lists all the shows, and says IIRC.... . . . . . "Forum - Harrisburg, PA" (Corps only does one show a year )
Old School Contra Guy
The Blue Knights (back before they got big--mid 70's) had a shirt with a contra player shaking hands with an arm reaching out of the bell of his horn. "The Friendly Contra" I wore that shirt under my uniform for all the big shows we competed in the summer I marched. I shot a photo of a young lady from Spirit back in 79 or 80 that read "drum corps sucks" Ed Trautner used it in a column, and I literally got hate mail for it ! I ended up writing an apology for that photo. If that young lady reads this site, she knows who she is. PM for name.

MalletMusic
I miss the Glassmen "Boring" or "Bboring" shirts.
Triple Forte
I'm confused....what exactly makes this a great shirt? It's very wordy and not a great idea for a t-shirt. I don't want to get to serious with this (After all....it is meant to be a fun/light topic). But......I would say that no less than 25 people stopped me at drum corps shows to read the shirt (Even some nice girls.... )....and they all loved it. T-Shirts should be like bumper stickers with their statements. This one proved otherwise...... Happy Wearing..... Triple Forte
For me, I loved the Cavaliers black shirts circa 1989-1991 that had the white silhouette of the snare drummer. Very hip. I have the hornline member and snare member Cavie black and white shirt.......real cool idea....
BlueCollarDrumCorps
One of my old Scout shirts from 86/87. Maybe some of you remember this one.....very Dick Tracy looking. It's a girl looking at a Scout saying.... "But you said scoring wasn't important....." Bill
