A new book titled "Racine: Drum and Bugle Corps Capital of the World" was released on December 1, 2008 by Arcadia Publishing Company.

This book is penned by Kiltie alumnus George Fennell. George is a alumnus of the junior division Racine Kilties during many championbship years and the "All Age" Kilties serving as one of the corps' first corporate officers and performer when the corps re-emerged in the early 90's.

It can be purchased at Barnes & Nobles in Racine and at other locations in the Racine area. It also can be purchased through the Internet at online book retailers such as Amazon.com or it can be special ordered at any bookstore in the world. The book features 204 historic black & white photographs. Although the book is a photo essay of the history of Racine's drum and bugle corps, it mainly features the six Racine drum and bugle corps that made Racine, by Presidential Proclaimation, the "Drum and Bugle Corps Capital of the World": The Boys of 76, The Kilties, Kiltie Kadets, Racine Scouts, Racine Jr. Scouts and the Ambassa"Dears"/New Day.
