spirit7698
Is it gonna be in Osaka? I wish there was a big show in Tokyo that I could get to. I always work on Sat/Sun and finish in enough time to get to the stadium ( around Tokyo) just to see everyone leave the stadium....... ucfrellis
It was staff related. As far as I know management staff didn't agree with the creative/instructional staff. The same staff that produced a championship corps three times in four years, and produced what are some of the greatest drum corps shows ever.Sad. If they had made it to All Japan they may have finished tenth at the most. The Yokohama Scouts are going to walk away with this year's trophy. Good show, and the have one Hell of a drumline. Yo, I thought John, Kirk and I were good to go, then we got an email that said they were moving another direction. That's all I know. No more, no less. All good (except I LOVED writing for them!). Teal is gonna be KEWEL this year. And Fusion chose killer stuff as well. r - edit - I do know that Ho created his own group - Gequo (Sp?) but it is more of a professional/Blast type group of about 20 players. They don't compete, at least to my knowledge. Edited January 5, 2009 by ucfrellis

geritubo
As a staff member of a competing drum corps, I am happy to be there again. And I AM happy to be among the guys who want to keep drum corps as it was. We use G bugles. We never use amps. We welcome a corps even if they have less than 30 guys. Please don't take that as I am complaining to the recent changes. We are happy and it's our honor to maintain a treasure that you, U.S. people, brought to us. I hope to see you there, guys. Ken, composer/arranger for the Jokers P.S. Eddie, you come by bus? Don't catch a cold on the way.
