mayormccheese
If any one who is currently associated with Teal Sound as a member posts again in this thread, there will be consequences. Members of Teal Sound have been asked not to post anything on DCP. If we find out who you are you will not be happy. To the user "tealguardvet" I would suggest you cease and desist. Ahhh... can spring be far away? Can't you just smell it in the air? The splendid aroma of dirty laundry being aired out here in the sewer known as Drum Corps Planet... the thinking man's RAMD? Teal, let your horns, drums, flagpoles and marching do the talking. Good luck for a great season to all.
AgentDark
Mikey-Any "official" word from DCI on the status of CR? There was still nothing announced by DCI. and you said it would be by the end of Jan.? Now its like almost a month later and no news. I know you guys are practicing and working out but it sure would add a level of credence(?) if DCI comes out and makes a big announcement. I think it was Cald D. who stated that a DCI official was gonna be at this last camp, last weekend did he show? and did you guys hear anything? My son is looking to try out for the CR. Was hoping for this year but it just wasnt gonna work out, But he's planning on next year. Or if something happens, then Glassmen. Good Luck and hows the snare line looking? The chairmen of Open Class was at our Feb. camp to see us. He said that he looks forward to us competing in Open class this year. They are supposed to post it on DCI.org, and its really irritating, because he told us that we are apart of Open class, and no one will believe it until it is posted on there. Our percussion line is looking really good. The popularity for it was very high. As of now if anyone is looking to march drum corps and is a horn player, check us out. Our show entitled "The Storm" is very powerful so far and is a lot of fun to play for Brass players, as a Corps show should be. Spots Open: 4 Trumpets 4 Baritones 1 Pit spot Its amazing to see how much our current Brass line has melded together, and its really something to see the comradery. We are ready to welcome any new players in to our family. We run a Bus from Virginia Beach to Columbus, making various stops along the way, so if you live between VA beach and Columbus, this could be your chance to march with us. The bus will be willing to stop to pick you up, just jump on our forums and post a topic. http://www.capitalregiment.org If you have any questions, feel free to Private Message me. :-) Edited February 23, 2009 by Michael Relko

Good luck Capital Regiment Isn't the "chairman" the creepy acrobatic karate dude from the Iron Chef? Or is that his nephew? Always confuses me. If the Iron Chef dude was visiting your camp, it probably means that your cooking staff is doing a good job.

The Iron Chef Chairman actually starred as one of the main characters for the "DOUBLE DRAGON" feature film!
