Al Morrison and Gerry Hemsley were instructors for Krescendos and Seneca Princemen circa 73-75. I recall that these gentlemen were good instructors. denverjohn
Yes Puppet, Islanders and Smithtown Freelancers owned the circuit until the metro corps crossed-over into multiple circuits.(OLC Ramblers & Wynn Center Toppers). It was cool when we Long Island kids occassionally crossed over to compete in the metro circuit shows. (Randall Island). You'll notice I spent some time down the street from you guys but St Rocco's was in between. You could go down 4th Avenue from the Long Island Railroad station all the way to Bay Ridge and find a parish corps every 10 blocks or so. My obscure contribution would be EBR. East Brentwood Raiders. Tick champions BITD. We used to have contests to see if we could pick out a melody or find a downbeat by watching feet.
