Robot Rock
there is in fact a female brass staffer. Yeah, Joni Perez, formerly brass caption head for the Blue Knights.
DaveBari
I really think it had a lot more to do with the inclusion of choreography and dance...Military = left foot lead Dance = right foot lead while i'm sure that information is true.. during my experience with cadets there was little to no dance training. visual was more 'militaristic' in style... they're not the most graceful corps in dci. oh and the 05 cadet girls changed behind the door (i got to see a peek hehe)
PCSoprano9702
The story I've heard from Cadets vets from the 90's is that Sully changed it to right foot lead for Jeremiah Symphony in 85. The members were having trouble with all the meter changes and nonsense, so to make them get out of the muscle memory of a left-foot lead he changed it to right foot. Basically, it was a way of making people think less about "Left foot on 1 and 3, Right on 2 and 4" which would make marching in odd meters a little more difficult. I may eventually come to believe this. This is the most believable story yet.
rdtrmpt
How do you get the horizontal drum corps logo for your signature? Did the cadets trumpets in the 2000 hand wave part really play each others horns, or did the people beind them play the part while they imitated it? BlooContraGuy
I'm pretty sure they actually played there. Why wouldn't they?

kbkcdrums
Do members of the 2004 Blue Devils feel somehow cheated that they weren't on the field at the end of their show, and didn't get to see the crowd give them a standing applause at Finals? Not at all.....
