tommytimp
From an original marching member, and sorry if this seems picky and I'm sure no one means any harm, but in the future could people get it correct when spelling the name of the Chicago Royal-Airs Drum and Bugle Corp. Royal-Airs. Not Royalaires. Two words with a hyphen. Thank you. P.S. And THANK YOU for even remembering us. Never seen the hyphen before. I thought it was Royal Airs. gsksun4
Never seen the hyphen before. I thought it was Royal Airs. Here are two web sites for them. One I believe is the home site and the other is a history and official reunion corps site. http://chicagoroyalairs.org/ http://rdoran.tripod.com/ Shows it both ways. Kansan
The Corps I would like to Bring Back: All the Kansas Corps: Argonne Rebels of Great Bend Sky Ryders of Hutchinson Silver Sabres of Salina Continental Ambasadors Excerpt from the Salina Silver Sabres Alumni site: Now 22 years later we smile, and we cry as we remember the Salina Silver Sabres and the other great corps of our region; The Great Bend Argonne Rebels, the Hutchinson Sky Ryders, the Wichita Scarlet Lancers, the Phantoms, the Continental Ambassadors, the Emporia Plainsmen, the Tri-Vel Raiders, the Overland Park Trailblazers, the Olathe Frontiersmen, the Enid Legionettes, the Valiant Knights, the Norfolk Crimson Cadets, the Lincoln Young Admirals, and the Lakewood El Doradons........Before they were the enemy, now they are the friends that help us to remember that moment in time. Other Corps I would like to see come back: Black Gold Guardsmen Geneseo Knights Sun Coast Sound Florida Wave Bridgemen (The Junior Corps) Although I do like and appreciate the Alumni Corps. Freelancers Probably forgot a couple. Edited April 1, 2009 by Kansan

gsksun4
The old TROOPERS from the 60's. 'Nuff said! Yes, either 69 or 70. Take yer pick, though in 70 they won the World Open, VFW Nationals and the CYO Nationals. Oh, and the North American Invitational. Not too shabby I'd say.
