Olympic-level "pageantry" activities like figure skating and gymnastics began using instant replay a few years ago. If Olympic judges have a hard time telling whether Sasha Cohen performed a triple Axel or a quadruple Axel, then it makes sense that WGI equipment judges might also have difficulty at times discerning between a 6 and 7 on a rifle or sabre.
