It has an IMAX screen, but they're probably using it to show this new movie. I can't really remember it's name. Star Trek or something like that... Geoff Posted May 13, 2009 Share Posted May 13, 2009 We have a long weekend in Tucson planned (niece's graduation from UofA with honors), so we're not sure if we'll be able to make it. But, if we do, we'll be at Village Square in Las Vegas. There are closer sites, but this was the first theatre to show quarters/countdown events, so it's the most popular.Last countdown, though, a lot of people sat on their hands, so I may have to take it upon myself to go up front and let people know it's cool to cheer and applaud what they're seeing and hearing, even as it's happening, and even though it's not a live event. It's so much more fun with audience participation! (And if I can't make it, Poodle better stand in for me!) Garry in Vegas Oh you know I'll be standing up for Spartacus. I have "AMC" up toward Beverly Hills or "The Bridge" at Howard Hughes... They both have cocktails on hand : ) feel bad for those who don't have all the theaters to choose from.
