The Bluecoats had many 7 year members (Phil probably knows more from the early years)....here's who I remember:

Ellen (Yerkey) Wise ('84-'91), Laura "Killer" Swartzlander ('87-'93), Michelle Zaveson ('83?-'89, '91), Amy Lilly ('93-'99?), there's a few more that I'm missing but those are the ones that I marched with. I want to say Ken Fanti is in there in the 6 or 7 year range....'81 or '82-'88.

There are a bunch of 6 year Bluecoats, most notably Lane Armey ('93-'98) from my era.

In DCA at Empire, Fred has marched for 50+ years i believe it was.

Well, sure.... if we include DCA competing Corps...... LOTS of participants over the years have marched dozens of years. For one thing, there is NO ageout restriction.

Harvey Oldermann ( sp ? ) marched in the competing Connecticut Hurricanes of DCA for God knows how many decades. He was around 90 before he had to quit the competitive side of DCA with the Hurricanes.

However We were referring to Junior Corps on this thread I believe.

Eight (Count Em) seasons in the L.S.U. "Corps." All undergraduate. It was a hard feat to accomplish, but was done through "creative" course scheduling of the likes you've never seen .....................

Absolutely correct. My table represented ONLY the drumline specifically. We have many more recent guys in both hornline and guard.

Well there goes 5 points from my reading comprehension score.

Didn't Daryl Pemberton and Jana march a ridiculously long time also... not to mention after they aged out they were both on staff.

Darryl marched from 88 to 95 i believe
