It's the term everyone uses for the membership agreements these days. Too many legal shows on TV, I guess.

Thanks, Dave. I think I was channeling Steve Colbert there for a minute. On second reading, though - in the light of day - it was kind of funny ... I think.

The record for the Crossmen is Kim Robinson, daughter of corps founders Robbie and Charlotte Robinson. She marched 11 seasons of color guard 1975-1985, if I remember correctly. Second place goes to Becky Terry: 9 seasons of mello and drum major 1997-2005.

Carolyn Pierantozzi, Crossmen mello 81-88. I think she did a few seasons in the short lived feeder corps Iron Cross? According to Corpsreps, Iron Cross fielded a corps in 79 and 80. I was thinking Carolyn had 12 or 13 years total but that would make it 10 max. I only recall this because she had finals/semis patches all the way down her corps jacket sleave!

Its scary to think that if I would have taken Greg Orwoll up on his offer in 1998 I would have been marching a total of 12 years this year. If I was marching my age out it would have been 6 years. 9 if I would have marched 01 to 09. Wow I am going to miss Drum corps...

We had a Euph, Kassi, that started at Spirit the same year I did. She aged out in 07 I believe.

I want to say there may have been one or two that were around for somewhere close to that long back in the 80s, Hunter Moss maybe.

Here is snapshot from past year Cavalier alumni drumline which is fairly representative of whole corps make-up. Cavies tend to see guys average around 3-5 years. BUT, many folks marched at least a few years elsewhere as well. Early years also had guys (in our case) whom were with cadet or 'B' corps.

The Kilties' record is held by Ray "Moon" Johnson. Moon marched 4 years in the Kiltie Kadets (66-69), 8 years in the Kilties Jr. (70-77), marched both reunion corps (80s and 92), and has marched every year in the Kilties Sr. (going on his 17th season, 1993-2009). That's a grand total of 31 years as a Kilt! (My mere 17 years in the Kilties pales in comparison, but I will have 30 years in drum corps after this season).
Got me beat !

Are you maybe thinking of Jeff Brown? He marched trumpet at Cavies from 2001-2006.

There we go. I only knew him at the university from 2003-2005. So I couldn't remember the start an end years. Still, not a bad run.

Latest membership year 2002? Didn't Jayzer do CAC? He was 2003-2005.

You know what ... it's interesting to see that so far there are no posts about this topic from the Muchachos ... they must have had members who marched 15 or 16 years or 20! LOL!
