Lance
Thanks....BIZZARE, but thanks! Can of corn is a term you hear in baseball sometimes about catching a routine fly ball. Nice and easy.
snare36
Here's a cool one. SCV 1997 Just after opener at minute 5:13. "Gail was watching!" It gives me goose-bumps. A reference, of course to the father of SCV, the late Gail Royer. Edited June 9, 2009 by snare36

After Spirit '80 it sounds like a baritone was just playing randomly after the show was done. Was that another fan noisemaker thing or am I just hearing things? Musical_Spinner
At the "Live or Die" moment PR 2008... "CAKE PLEASE!" NO. WAY. That's hilarious.

I sucked at baseball....was so afraid of getting beaned in Little League that I RARELY managed to stay in the batter' box (on the other hand, I DID draw a lot of walks, so I ended up getting RBI'd quite a bit) We have no such term in fencing that I know of.
