I can't imagine... exactly. I'm incredibly envious of that guy. One of the biggest goosebump moments I've gotten since I started watching drum corps. All the components work together, and their guard is doing some really difficult stuff and making it look easy! They pay homage to the original App Spring. And it's beautiful. Just beautiful. Some may agree and some may disagree. But the vibe I get from them is something I haven't seen/felt since the late 90's. So regardless of placement, SCV is heading in the right direction. For those that haven't had the chance to see them, they have reverted their marching style to a more bent legged forward and backward marching style. They have also lost the soft direction changes, and added back the "pivot" which makes for a more distinct direction shift in their drill. This adds to their visual appeal, and shows how dirty/clean they are, and from what I'm seeing, they are very clean! That's why I became a fan of SCV in the 90's! They are for real this season! It's the "toast", I believe (as in toasting someone...not burnt bread). Same pose as the one bari at the end of 07....they've used it a lot since at least 87....probably earlier.
