bugleboy1048
maybe you should watch what they are doing. Technique, performing and drill. They are that good. Well. if I was a dance expert I would understand "colorguard" better....but I'm not and they were a distraction to me. I'm sorry if that offends you, but I am a brass player and old school at that. NY Skyliners PR
With a surprise I say..Minn brass 86.5 Bucs 86.2 Hurcs 85.3 Cabs 85.0 Empire 84.5 Bush 76.3 Captions brass/ Brass percussion/ Reading guard /Hurcs GE/ Brass Maybe I misunderstood the above posting (as reporting vs. opinion), but when I saw this last night (having left the show before the scores were announced), it seemed from this that Minnesota Brass took brass & GE. However, if you go to http://www.dcacorps.org/wp-content/uploads...8/scranton1.pdf, one can see that Bucs took overall brass 35.4 vs. Minnesota's 34.3. Bucs also took Visual and Music GE as well. Just sharing what I just found out when I clicked on the above pdf. Some great drum corps last night. DCA Finals will be interesting. Wonderful tom see lots of drum corps friends, on and off the field.

TomPeashey
Re: Bucs penalty... At one point, one of the guard leaves the performance and moves off to the side... guess she didn't know that boundaries are in effect throughout the judged portion of the show and she sat down in the endzone (clearly - no mickey mouse "on the line" or anything, in the end zone) -.3 boundary violation
HBeyer2177
Just an innocent question... I swear... Is there a penalty for passing the Honor Guard as they are leading the Corps onto the field? Someone I was sitting with had noticed corps arcing up for warm up on the field and the leader of the arcs were passing the Honor Guard as they were walking past and made a comment about it. I had thought there was, but then again, I haven't been on the field in a few years.

You know ..there is absolutley nothing worse than listening to an old school brass player ramble on..on this site...it does offend me......because they listen to old school brass players......and no matter how hard I try..they never listen to old school snare players...you win again bugleboy....a tick in the forest means lime disease..so beware the ticks!!!
