Allegro
Who was the perc caption head that year? Ralph Hardimon wrote the book, not sure if he was caption head. Sweet, sweet book.
84skyrydr
the coolest thing about this playlist is that the average drumcorps/band fan would see it, Roll their eyes, and procede to gag.But the Knights really gave it a special treatment. Now I just gotta find a video of it. I am going to have to second that. I will watch that tonight. Now I have something special to do. Thanks. MikeN
Didn't we have a group last year that was a discussion of underappreciated shows, where they had to watch / listen to one per week? Might be worth bringing back. Mike

Some of us have them and they are a treat to watch once in awhile. Kind of like a book club online overlooked DCI club. I'm into it.

hughesmr
Agreed, that was a great show and very tasty drum book. One of the coolest drum features of the 90s imho. Another little bit of trivia: watch the tenor line for a minute or so after the drum feature on the finals video. One of the tenors starts to lose his rig! For underappreciated (or perhaps just "not as well known as the top 12"), I would have to add these 92 Dutch Boy (a little dirty, but SLAMMIN! Great treatment of "Festival de Ritmo" and I am a sucker for Disney so i enjoyed thier beauty and the beast closer! 92 Spirit of Atlanta- WHO did that drumline? My god they were good and CLEAN! sweet book 1994 Freelancers- My favorite freelancers show- Matrix! Was that a Ralph Hardimon program? I remember not being a big fan of thier drumline until i saw them in my Hometown at Santa Barbara that year. They were throwin down! 1994 Velvet Knights- reverse the roles of Snares and Quads! I think 7 quads and 5 snares? (i havent seen it since then! lol) Unreal!
