2009 DCA Prelims Show - Live Thread

No percussion at all during the second movement. Low brass sounds very blended at the close of the 2nd movement. Wonderful sheer white double flag in use by a solo guard member.

Drums open the third movement. Nice playing! A little dirt in the snares. Only one tenor, so he has great ensemble technique.

By the way, the stadium is still having network issues. Doug Peterson and I both have connections via mobile broadband, but, until the stadium is back online, the rest of the team is unable to post the photos and video we've been collecting throughout the show so far. Rest assured, though, you'll be getting plenty of drum corps multimedia goodness once the stadium's back online.

Very difficult fugue moment, well handled by the horns.

OK, the guard is using two by fours???

Sorry for the delay of photo's. Our network issues continue but I have found a very slow method of getting a couple photo's posted. We hope to get more up later.

Really powerful moment as the corps marches across the field at half time (no pun intended) just blowing the stands down with the music. Now building into the finale.

You definitely take notice that the Sunrisers are on the field. Very powerful performance, especially after a year off.
