This was Argonauts from the Northwest.

Raise your hand if you knew that the 1985 Argonauts colorguard, had beat Blue Devils and Santa Clara Vanguard during the 85 season.......!?!

For me, the reigning worst guard uniform ever would be the Coke can outfit worn (I think) by Freelancers in '79. Anyone have a photo?

Ah, the year of the Shirlee Whitcomb debacle. Who can forget.

The fedoras on the corps proper were pretty hideous as well.

Boston 2001 was pretty bad - the Winny the Pooh outfits

But Crown's togas are still -for me - the worst - I just couldn't have worn those for a show.

Mike

This POLL is for those kids born in 1985 or later.....

There were some doosies before the year 2000 FYI

As there have been threads in the past discussing the best and worst guard outfits of all time (just search the archives), doing that again would simply be redundant. Therefore the intent of this thread was to look at more recent seasons only.

Let me assure you that this "kid" (the OP) was born WAY before 1985!!! :lle:

I would like to politely point out, since I know there is some legitimate confusion on the subject, that Madison's uniforms were in no way created to resemble "Nacho Libre" or any type of mexican wrestling figure. They were strictly designed for a super hero look. I can see how this came across otherwise considering the latin "mood" of the show, but either way, they were not Mexican wrestlers.

Just thought I'd clarify :P

=)
