Cavaliers announce 2010 Brass Team:

Drew Shanefield: brass composer/arranger

Scott Lee Atchison: caption head

Ed Roush: high brass tech

Jayme Taylor: high brass tech

Kyle Adelmon: high brass tech

Matt Banks: low brass tech

Fuller Lyon: low brass tech

Nate Holland: low brass tech

Taylor Smith: low brass tech

-looks like a pretty good combination of some returning old blood (roush, holland) with some new. hopefully makes for a great team.

He's with Madison - not the Cavaliers.

No not that Donnie. Donnie was the guy that always ran the audition camps until the caption head could make it in December/January.

after seeing this and the percussion/ admin post, i will say it will definitely be an interesting 2010 season for the cavaliers.

Personally I think you'll see and hear a lot of new things from The Green Team in 2010. Reading some of the posts in other topics, it seems others do not feel the same way. Whether it's a "rebuilding" year or not, the boys still got my 200% support. I am sure I speak for most if not all of my fellow alums.

Drew knows what's up ... and what drum corps hornlines should sound like (in his own mind .... and he has a strong melon) . This, to me, is the most exciting add to the Cavies staff in a very VERY long time.
