Blue Saints Announce

Blue Saints are pleased to anounce that Mr Chris Kilian has accepted the position of Program Coordinator for the 2010 Blue Saints Drum & Bugle Corps.

Chris has spent 13 of the last 14 summers with the Bushwackers all-age corps from New Jersey. Chris is the longest tenured drum major in the history of the corps, serving ten seasons in that role and has spent the last six years as a staff member and administrator. Chris was elected to the Bushwackers Drum & Bugle Corps Hall of Fame in 2009 and was the recipient of the prestigious "Scott Yuppa Bushwacker of the Year" award in 1999.

His elevation to the position of caption head comes after a successful stint as the Program Coordinator and Brass Arranger for the new Fusion Core Drum and Bugle Corps, placing 2nd in Class A in 2008. Chris returned to the Bushwackers in 2009 as the caption head, a title he continues to hold.

Mr. Kilian studied music composition at West Chester University, and is active as a freelance arranger, show designer, instructor and clinician around the United States (www.cekiliandesigns.com). Chris is the co-founder of Cadence Artistic Group, a company that provides educational media to music teachers and students.
