lindap
Why? Are there pictures of younger, better-looking drummers? Yes, there is. The first page of Timpani Instructor has photos of Edward M. Metzenger, Fred Hinger, Frederick Fennell, Dr. Modeste Alloo, timpanist Betty Cole, Luigi Torrebruno timpanist at La Scala and the percussion section of the Omaha Symphony Orchestra. The book has 10 sections; section 1. History of the Timpani and section 6. Developing the Roll. The last page has a list of 12 publications including No. 11-103 and the Drum and Bugle manual No. 11-110. I'll try to scan in the new year, until then here's the first of 700 scans in my photobucket account. Happy New Year!
