Glen

My condolences on the loss of your brother. I thank him for his service to our nation.

And thank you for reminding us that the real reason that we do this is the fans.

Without the judges we can still perform, without the fans, whats the point?

Another guy who scored in the 40s and 50s

All of us in the Reading Buccaneers family send our heartfelt thoughts, prayers and good wishes to Glen and his family at Grant's passing.

Thank you, Glen, for sharing this story. It is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do in this crazy activity.

God Bless you, Glen.

To be frank, it's been why I've enjoyed Alumni Corps. No pressure, just perform for loved ones, and fans we love. Guys like your brother. I hope he saw Westshore win the Grand Prix twice in 82 and 83, definite highlights for my performing experience. :)

I become more and more worried sometimes the Junior End of things with a couple exceptions seems to wish guys like us would go away.

And well, they've pretty much chased me out for the most part. ;)

Again, I kind of worry. One less true Drum Corps Nut in the stands. Not a golf clapper guy. A guy who knew how to let it fly when the performance stirred his soul. It's gonna be more lonely for me if I go to a show now.
