boxingfred
I really liked Teal Sound in 2009. I thought the show was clever. I wish the rock band would have stood out a little more at points in the show. I wish Teal Sound luck and I hope you guys keep up the creativity. I think some people pick TS so low because they are new to world class. dc oldtimer
Teal Sound gave us a glimpse of what the future holds for drum corps. i.e. guitars. Yet another step toward BOA and woodwinds.

Rhumbline
Teal Sound, you are talking about a corps that was Div III several years ago, and now entering World class. Somebody is doing something right down on that Florida /Georgia line.... In the face of so many corps going under going broke, no members etc. Rather than discussing Teals placement in their initial year, a better question would be HOW DID YOU DO IT? Good luck Teal

GUARDLING
if you say that then we can say the bluecoats are taking us to wgi with cloud shirts Well...havent alot of DCI shows lately been knock off of WGI shows?...that would be a yes..It makes sense though alot of DCI designers or people who have input are also WGI people
Iplaytimpani
It was only in 2005 that Kiwanis and Teal Sound were within inches of a merger. Teal Sound not wanting to give up their name and identity was all that kept it from happening, as Kiwanis had the Div I status. Now, Teal has their own World Class Status, but I still don't necessarily trust the things down in FL. Luckily, Randy seems to be a very smart business and drum corps guy and the corps SEEMS to be stable. There's just something about corps that work out of FL, I don't trust them. Except Boston. I'm too busy looking at their guard to remember I don't trust them.

And lets hope that is over with. Teal has always been entertaining. Lets just hope they don't take Drum corps backwards again like last year.
