Jeffsjetta Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 anyone try em? I saw the Coats use them, and i wasn't quite 100%sold on em Quote
drumcorpbc Posted June 16, 2003 Posted June 16, 2003 I just got a pair from VF the other day. I really like them. They are just a little shorter than the Vega Tenor sticks. They seem to have a good weight to them. I don't have my drums where I'm living now so I don't know how they feel on drums, but they feel great on a pad so far. When I get my drums up here, I'll give you an update. By they way, I'm not saying this because I endorse VF, I'm saying it because I like the sticks. Quote
CheezMaster Posted June 21, 2003 Posted June 21, 2003 our tenors got them just the other day. They seem just like the snare stick but a little lighter and the head is as wide and the butt for the sound. overall good stick. try em out. Quote
kco19 Posted June 24, 2003 Posted June 24, 2003 Too light for me. The IP Colin McNutt's are great though. Quote
greentenorman Posted July 15, 2003 Posted July 15, 2003 I have found that throwing a few rings of tape at the butts of tenor sticks (any brand) gives them a bit beefier feel. Quote
bicsta Posted July 18, 2003 Posted July 18, 2003 What do you know about tenors anyway, Reamy? I've used the IP, large bead ones. They're too light and awkward feeling. Just use timbales in the pit! Quote
