Iplaytimpani
Any chance I can get a mostly unbiased opinion of their rock band balance in the dome? Been curious to see this show live all year as I haven't been able to see them the past 2 years with their instrumentation.

HockeyDad
No, inclusiveness is, if a show is about prayer, representing prayer in a multitude of religious or spiritual beliefs, not just one to the exclusion of others. Baloney. Inclusiveness is you respecting their choice to present what they want. You just wanted to be offended. You brought it up. I find your post to be self-centered and intolerant. I defend your right to say it, but I won't let it go by without a response. With that, I'll post no more about this little side-topic. Lance
I think Teal is going places. Solid instruction and design, IMO, and I see them going straight up.

PioneerWebmaster
Pioneer's history traces back to its origin as the Imperials of St. Patrick, with St. Patrick being a Catholic church on Milwaukee's south side. The corps prayer traces back to that point as well, and has stuck with the corps through mergers and name changes. This year's show pays tribute to that origin and more specifically the corps prayer. The religious piece you heard recited was the Pioneer corps prayer. The corps recites this prayer before every show. It is what it is. It's not intended to offend anyone, or include/exclude certain religions or viewpoints. Instead, it's meant to pay tribute to all of the young men and women who have put on the uniform for Pioneer/Imperials of St. Patrick over the past 49 seasons.
