JulesBry
So it's possible that we need to let BDs show "sink in" for awhile. I think that's a fair statement. However, as a SCV/Cavies fan, there have been many "out-there" shows that I have loved. There have also been many that I've hated (Cadets throughout most of the 2000's). Some of them I saw multiple times, and my hatred only grew. Others, I grew to like more. I'm hoping this year's BD will be the latter, but at this point, I'm with those who don't get it. I'm willing to watch it again if I can see it from a high camera angle, though.
JulesBry
I don't get why the guy from the Glassmen made such an effort to tell Rondinaro that the show was not about religion but was instead spiritual. Of course it was about religion, and who cares if it is? I found that comment rather odd, too. Especially since the show was filled with crosses, a huge "7" (the number of "completion" in the Bible), and triangles (another symbol of the trinity). Perhaps there were other religious symbols, but those just kept sticking out to me.

JulesBry
In Ballston,VA it seemed like the best crowd response was for the SCV cymbals as wheel hub move that was mentioned earlier. The SCV cymbal line has been on my annual list of favorite moments for many years. One of my favorite moments of the past decade: the V that concluded "Moto perpetuo" (sp?). That was absolutely classic.

rudi man
At the theater that I was at the fans were cheering for the Glassmen and Madison mostly understandably since it was mostly a T-Town crowd also quite a few Cavalier fan's I don't think the audience were into The Blue Devil's very much maybe a jazz major from some high profile would get into that stuff but not the general public . Don't get me wrong BD is really good but I want to be entertained and I was not by the Blue Devil's , I get their show I just don't like it ! My own personal opinion , and I hate to say it but I didn't like my own corps show this year , but I loved Phantom's show and The Academy's show who I think got screwed BIG time that corps should have beaten both the Colt's and Glassmen !
