drewbugler
Before I go forward, please understand that I am really upset right now and am not thinking clearly, but I need to get this off of my chest. DCI is a great activity - I spent six summers performing with two groups and had an amazing experience. BUT NOW, in 2010 I am FED UP. I have real a problem with the way this activity is going and gosh darn it, someone owes me an answer or at least a more than half-hearted explaination... I am upset that the souvenir t-shirts don't come in tall sizes. I'm nearly 6'5'' and can't fit in the t-shirts because I am too tall for the XXL and too small for the XXXL, but the XXXL is long enough with the exception of the sleeves which go down past my elbows. This is a real problem folks. I can't buy t-shirts that don't fit anymore.
horndevil
OH...MY...GOSH.... I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM!!!!! CAN A TALL BROTHER GET A SHIRT??? Come on corps!! Think about your big and tall fans
DrinkinOuttaCups
I guarantee you this wouldn't have been an issue if corps were still playing on G bugles and they unplugged all the amps! Figure it out, DCI!
Plan9
Evidently you two didn't get the memo on the "new DCI mid-drift T's" designed to accentuate the bare belly and exposed underware. Duh!! Get with it! The work around is buy two T-Shirts, cutting the bottom 12" of one of the T's and sewing it to the bottom of the other....good luck! If you're not happy with the shirt we gave you, I'll take it back.
tja273
You make a good point...I never knew how poorly these shirts fit me either until I looked into a mirror (actually, a lot of mirrors).
Todd Tanji
It is well known that tall people do not represent the average Joe six-pack and, hence, are not to be accommodated. In fact, DCI is now implementing rules on all corps merchandise to ensure that the activity does not head into the tall direction thereby alienating legacy medium and short fans who represent the majority of the market. Well, at 6'2", I am deeply offended, since all we are talking about here is height
Michael Boo
I guarantee you this wouldn't have been an issue if corps were still playing on G bugles and they unplugged all the amps! Figure it out, DCI! Sounds to me like he's taller than he needs to be. I'm also 6'2". He should do what I did; pack on a few pounds so the t-shirts in the larger size elevate themselves and don't drag the ground. A few years ago I asked a store clerk why there were no shirts available in my size, but lots in every other size. She told me that they didn't re-order in my size because they can't keep them in stock due to demand. I could do nothing other than look at her as if she just fell into the Milky Way. Todd Tanji
Stop this nonsense! Everyone knows that MY height, 5'10", is the correct height. No other height need be accommodated. Edited August 25, 2010 by BDUFLS
