Paul has been a key part of Dynasty's design changes to their battery instruments in the last few years and he has 2 stick models from Innovative Percussion. Are any other switches upcoming? I think they marched Premier in '85? It would be really odd to see SCV with another brand. There are just some drums that fit certain corps, and Pearl and SCV are a great fit.
