Donk
I have seen many DCA mini-corps performances. This past one may have been the best over-all, from top to bottom all the groups were great. I was just wondering, SineWave made a decision to not have a drum major/conductor...has that ever been attempted in the DCA mini-corps competition before? I was wondering if anybody noticed. TomPeashey
I'm pretty certain - where's dick pronti when you need him - that in the beginning... many groups performed without a separate conductor.
Gary Matczak
I'm pretty certain - where's dick pronti when you need him - that in the beginning... many groups performed without a separate conductor. we only used a DM on three or four of our dozen or so appearances Edited September 6, 2010 by Gary Matczak

Rap48
From the Anthems to the final notes, The Mini Corps show was great entertainment. These Corps are really into raising that bar and they challenge each other every year. Many Corps have competed without DM. At the last Congress we changed the rule as to not count the Major into the 21. Since then most use a major. Star has some subs who fill in for them during the season, at the finals performance they ask if all can play. I have so many thnkyou's to get out, It was another wonderful night at I&E.
