chasgroh
Best bet is to contact the exec director, the BOD Chair, and the current corps director...plus an alumni coordinator, if there is one...if nothing else, one of them should point you in the right direction. Kingsmen did a great job of putting 286 people on the field in '07...that thing was planned to the max, but it started with one guy, Joe Rybus, and a small party at his place in Newport Beach. Passion on the hoof. Lots of details were covered very quickly after a BOD was formed, but it took pretty much 2 years of hard work...I joined-in in Dec. '05 when it was still pretty small, but by summer '06 we had 100+ horns and were able to do a bowling shirt exhibition at a local show. The plan was always to do an entire field show so time was of the essence, and I think we did a (in) credible job. If you guys can get it up and running, with the long history of Spirit, membership will take care of itself...you will have the time of your lives...it IS a lifechanger for those involved, and there is absolutely NOTHING like putting a huge stadium to a 3-foot hover. cg

Yeah....and Ryan's announcement was almost as long as the performance itself!
I Like Drum Corps
It would be funny/cool if Christopher Martin did it.
