FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Bushwackers Announce 2011 Design Team

October 12, 2010 - The upcoming 2011 season marks the 30th Anniversary of the six-time DCA World Champion Bushwackers Drum and Bugle Corps. They are excited to announce the Design Team for this landmark season.

The Bushwackers would like to welcome back Key Poulan as the 2011 Arranger/Composer and Pete Weber as the 2011 Visual Designer. The Bushwacker would also like to extend a warm welcome to the newest member of our design team, Paul Rennick as the new Percussion Arranger for the 2011 season.

All three designers are currently show designers in their respective captions at the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps from Santa Clara, California.

"I'm very happy to be working with the same core of designers that we use at SCV for the Bushwackers. Paul Rennick and I are working closely on developing a clear and coordinated musical product and Pete will be staging the entire ensemble for incredible visual effect and excellent presentation of the musical elements. We are all looking forward to coordinating our efforts for the 2011 season!" - Key Poulan, Bushwackers Brass Composer/Arranger.

All three designers have a long and storied history in the activity, read about them here:

Good luck not getting just a copy and paste of some of PR's old notes. Take a look at Crown 98, Cru 07, Vigilantes 09. Same drum solo each year.
