BRIDGEMEN 2011 OPEN HOUSE

Recommended Posts

....Even after practice we usually don't go right home. After drill practice down on thr water at 16th street, we tailgate for awhile and then go to the Venice to spend more time together, ...I guarantee you'll have fun or your 1st beer is on me. .... Ray Williamson

Typically, in these situations and especially when you're with Ray, you never go home in one piece  just ask me

And the next day is typically a ##### just ask me

But it's FUN in the long run  just ask me

Well we are still working on the 2011 show as we speak.

I can tell you that we will be keeping our opener from last year "LOMBERO" and I can tell you I see a trip to New York in 2011.

More details to follow as them become finalized.

Hype!

George

George,

If you march the corps over the Bayonne Bridge you have a trip to New York.

Can't worm much information out of you guys.

Ok Ray I'll give you another tune we are doing.

I hope your sitting down for this one, it's called the "William Tell Overture"! It is our encore tune!

I hope you like that one!

Hey Ray,

One of the new tunes goes like this...daah, daah, daaah, dah, daaaaahhh, dah, dah, dah, daaaah, daaah, daaaaahhh.

Does that help?

The Bridgemen are pleased to announce that they will be having their 2011 Open House on Saturday November 13th & Sunday November 14th. Both days will be from 12-6 and will be held at St.Andrews, which is located at 4th steet and Broadway in Bayonne N.J.

It will all start on Saturday at noon with a quick meeting to go over the membership handbook and the plans for the 2011 season. After the quick meeting we will then head to practice for the rest of the day. We get to do it all over again on Sunday with practice from 12-6. On Saturday night after practice the corps will be having a social at the famous VENICE!

The corps is open to ANYONE who wants to have fun and entertain audiences!!!! This is the place for you!

Our schedule is very light. This year the corps will be together only 29 times total, which includes all practices, shows & parades. The dues are only $225 which is paid over 6 months.

Anyone wishing information can email me @gmanbay41@aol.com or you can stop by either day. The practices are ALWAYS open to the public to stop by and watch.

Also the "Tournament Of Stars" exhibition show will be held on July 16th, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. More info to follow.

The 2011 season will be our 7th season and promises to be our best one yet!

Ah Geez, William Tell again?

I wish they'd go back to "dah dah dah dah dot da dah dah dah da dot..."

That was the best ever.

People didn't sit down for 3 minutes after that.

George - I was just screwing around with Dom's dah dah dah thing - kidding about it being William Tell, then I read this post.

It's not how it looks.

I love Tell. OK - like might be closer... errr mmmmm i can still listen to it?

Every time I see a rerun of the Lone Ranger I keep expecting to see Patty Forker standing their dressed like a cop with a stop sign...
