It is with great pleasure in that we announce two new FANTASTIC additions to the Sun Devils staff for the 2011 season. We plan on having a very positive and successful season ahead of us. As we grow and develop as a corps, we strive to better ourselves each and every year.

Bobby Jones, of Owings Mills, MD will be joining the Sun Devils staff as our Visual Designer. Jones is a freelance Visual Designer and Program Consultant for many High School Marching Bands, Winterguards, Indoor Percussion Ensembles and Drum and Bugle Corps throughout the country. Jones has been the Visual Designer and Caption Head for the Crossmen (2006), the Hawthorne Caballeros (2007), and currently is the Visual Designer for the Jersey Surf and Visual Designer and Caption Head for the DCA World Champion Reading Buccaneers Drum and Bugle Corps. (2005, 2008 to Present) Bobby is also an adjudicator for the USSBA marching band circuit.

Bobby lives at home with his wife Amy and puppy Myron.

David Wing, a native of Brookfield, WI, joins the staff as our newest horn line tech. Wing is also very excited and ready to get to work. Wing graduated from Southeastern University in 2008 with his degree in Music Education (K-12). He participated in numerous ensembles including Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Brass Quintet, Symphony Orchestra and played in the Orchestra for numerous musicals and operas. He was also actively involved in MENC (National Assoc. for Music Education). He was elected for two terms as FCMENC Secretary (Florida Collegiate MENC) and served the entire state of Florida.
