Windsor Regiment PR
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Windsor Regiment to Field All-Age Drum and Bugle Corps in 2011! West Windsor, NJ October 17, 2010 http://www.windsor-regiment.org Introducing from West Windsor, NJ - Windsor Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps. WINDSOR REGIMENT was first established in 2007 as an all age drum and bugle Corps and has performed at various functions and ceremonies for West Windsor Township as well as being one of the original seven mini corps represented at the MCA (Mini Corps Associates) Championships in Albany, NY in 2008. In 2010 it was decided by the parent organization Xtreme Drum Corps, Inc. of West Windsor, NJ that Windsor Regiment would put its best foot forward and start formulating plans to put the corps on the grass in 2011. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the Xtreme Drum Corps administration, local school districts, area band directors, and some very savvy equipment dealers that day has arrived. Windsor Regiment has secured a fresh compliment of Yamaha brass instruments, Yamaha battery, and a new-look uniform for the upcoming season. The corps will rehearse in West Windsor, NJ and Robbinsville, NJ throughout the 2011 season using a state of the art indoor facility as well as multiple grass fields and an astroturf stadium for full ensemble. Windsor Regiment plans to compete this coming 2011 season and has submitted an application with Drum Corps Associates for evaluation and participation. Open House for Windsor Regiment is January 15, 2011 in Robbinsville, NJ beginning at 10:00 am with registration and a brief information session. This will lead right into our first camp weekend with rehearsal from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Saturday, January 15th and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 16th. Please come out and join us for a great weekend of "firsts." Learn about our show, meet our experienced and qualified staff, use our great new equipment, and hear about all of our plans for 2011. This is a great opportunity to be a part of the building of a championship caliber drum and bugle corps, so make plans to attend. Pre-registration and more information are available on our website at www.windsor-regiment.org.

DMCK
NJ is still the hot bed...if Sky comes back, plus Cabs, Bush, and Fusion...wow True...a lot of corps in one state. Luckily for WR, they're down in Central Jersey closer to Philly, Rowan U, and Rutgers.
