PunkRawkBandGeek
The Vanguard organization will lock down the first Quadruple Crown Gold Medal Run within a single year... 1. WGI World Class Champions, 2. WGI Open Class Percussion Champions, 3. DCI Open Class Champions (SCVC), and 4. Santa Clara's first DCI World Championship title of the 21st Century. That would be EPIC. BozzlyB
BD will not win a single TOC competition in 2011, and with drumline woes like they haven't experienced in years will come in 4th at finals.

kickhaltsforlife
Phantom and SCV will actually move UP in the rankings. And at least one will medal.
loopin' froot loops
Madison and Crown will be within a point of each other on Finals night. Blue Devils will win just enough shows to break the all-time record before they finally lose at a show in the middle of nowhere. Phantom will remain outside the Top 6 all season. Pretty much not possible with the current scoring system. Look at it this way: Blue Devils won in 2010 with the 4th place drumline and were barely 2nd in 2008 with the 5th place drumline. In fact, if you switch 2010 percussion scores between the Blue Devils and the Glassmen so that the Blue Devils scored 17.1 with a 12th place drumline, they would STILL have won the 2010 DCI Title with a total score of 97.

Unless BD has a major fall off in Guard and Visual Design from last season, its hard to see them in 4th place at Finals this year. Come Finals night, when judges that are high up in the booth usually can't hear a thing because of the noise of the fans in the stands, it is generally the Guard and the Visual Design Demand and Execution on that night that typically determines placements on Finals Night, imo. If I know how good the Guard is, and how creative and demanding and well executed the Visual will be, it goes a long way in telling me who will place high,... and conversely, who won't. IF a drumline tanks it's gonna take a lot more than their own caption down with them. As for the original prediction -- well it's bold :-)
