Fastone
Bush gets a score on July 9th. We should know more about where their program is at based on that score and the numbers they are fielding after that show. Actually, they will be getting a score July 2 at the Barnum Festival

camel lips
Actually, they will be getting a score July 2 at the Barnum Festival The calendar I was looking at did not show them as being there. I looked on DCA website and sure enough it shows them as July 2nd. Should have known better.
irishbugle
Bridgeport is this weekend! Here is my prediction. OPEN CLASS Buccaneers - 82.50 Hurricanes - 78.25 Caballeros - 78.05 Empire - 77.65 Bushwackers - 73.88 ------------------------------------------ CLASS A Fusion Corps - 74.50 Initially I had the Cabs in second with that score, and I can see that happening Saturday, but I think its more likely that Hurcs will take that spot having had more time to clean their show. Either way- I predict it will be close between the 2nd and 3rd spot. And before Jeff gets to it- I predict the corps with the highest score will win. <$1 to Jeff Ream> Edited June 29, 2011 by irishbugle
FPonzo
Dear Mr. (or is it Mrs, Miss, Ms.) Bugle.....(Sorry...I have to ask....no signature....just another "annonymous" poster.... I just wanted to take the time to thank you for your support of the entire Caballeros Organization, and for predicting us placed so high this weekend.....I DO believe it is attainable, but only the time at our rehearsal on Saturday will tell. We worked our collective butts off last weekend, and I assure you, our scores WILL jump. Hopefully you are right with your predictions!!! If you are at the show in Bridgeport, I would love to get the chance to meet and talk with you!!

zorf
This will be interesting for MBI. Just as it seems to be each of the last few years. I really like what I've seen of the show this year. But timing differences between show dates and judging will keep us all guessing. We shall see where they stack up during their trip out east an a few weeks. But even that shouldn't be overstated based on past experience. Regarding the Cabs, setting aside my personal bias for MBI, my favorite show from last year was Caballeros. The horn features were smokin and the soloists were fantastic. In the old days of vinyl discs I'm sure I would have bore through the album by now based on how often I've played it. I'm confident this year will be no different.
