Galen
It seems like a lot of corps organizations have been bit by the "economic bug" as there's a low turnout registered so far, but that won't stop the rest of us from enjoying another spectacular season. Tomorrow is OPENING DAY, with 4 shows scheduled to take place. Due to my class and work schedule, expect show scores to be posted sometime in the afternoon to early evening for most days during the week. Saturday's events: East: Elizabeth PA, Elizabeth Forward HS South: Orlando FL, Southern Star Cup at Brighthouse Field Midwest: Oswego IL, Pickerill Stadium at Oswego HS West: Stockton CA, Stagg Field at Lincoln HS
StarOrg
In case nobody has noticed the season kicks off .... TOMORROW! I hope we get some more Directors involved this year in their updates and banter. For our corps, Jupiter is in Orlando today practicing for the Southern Star Cup XVI tomorrow night. Hawaii is flying into Cali this afternoon for the show in Stockton. And Cross will be starting Monday night in Glascow close to home, season show announcement forthcoming. Good luck to everyone on a successful season XVI!
hostrauser
The Forward Dynamics organization is just up the road at our housing site, Waubonsie Valley High School in Aurora, preparing to kick the season off in style! I've been a little preoccupied with losing my job (last day next Friday) and trying to find a new one, but I hope to be more active as the season gets underway. (psst, Galen, your signature banner is still advertising last season)
ced3905
The NMP has packed up and is headed towards Illinois. We've had a quiet off season, but are very excited about things to come. Trying some new things this year so we'll see how it goes.

OrangeCrush014
The Creole Crew is going Scottish! After a joint partnership with American Airlines and some very generous support from boosters, The Creole Crew will be beginning their tour in Europe, with a show in Glasgow! The Crew just landed in London and will be sightseeing today around London. They will play 3 shows, Glasgow, Warrington and South Leeds before heading to Ireland for a day and then returning to the bayou. Once back, preparations will begin for The First Annual Creole Classic and Parade on July 2nd!

Galen
Events for Sunday, 6/19: East: Ohio Valley Thunder welcomes eastern corps to their home show at Laidley Field in Charleston WV Midwest: Rockford IL's Boylan High School hosts a bevy of Midwest corps: West: This year's Fresno CA show again takes place at Buchanan High School South: Clearwater HS is the site of a 3-way duel among both World and Open class corps: Due to the "unique" nature of the first DCI events that we depend on for some of our scoring data and me being out of town on a long drum corps camp weekend, scores for the 6/18 and 6/19 events will be posted sometime tomorrow. gcurrier
Knights are excited to get the season kicked off tonight in VA! Very unusual for the corps, we have kept a tight lid on our season 16 show until its premiere tonight. You will certainly see a little nod to our new home in Columbia SC, but there will be some classic Knights moments involved as well!
Galen
Events for 6/20: Just two events scheduled to go off today. The Medford OR event has been cancelled. East: Salem VA's bowl-shaped stadium hosts a whopping 16 corps in 3 divisions. Glad to see all that east coast turnout! Europe: The first European event of the season takes place in Falkirk Stadium near Glasgow Scotland. Medium-sized venues don't get much better than this:
