FWIW...my favorite show is/was when VK won the 1965 American Legion State title!!!

So there...you pups! That said, I honestly don't have a favorite show...although my favorite crowd reaction has to be '92...and "the bull" looms as the ultimate gag. Personally, I'm constantly reminded of what a great decades-spanning comraderie that has evolved over the years...not just from the brother and sisterhood of membership, but everyone who became a fan of a very special entity, The Velvet Knights.

Definitely '89, for me....I love the transition from Night in Tunisia into Sing, Sing, Sing.

snip-a-dee doo dah...

Yes there are a lot of VK alum all over the So. Cal. Drum Corps scene yet I didn't see ONE VK Corps jacket the WHOLE night, other than mine. It seems to me that there are alot of alum who are embarrassed to say they marched VK.

That's OK, Bill. You also won't see Blue Devils jackets, Santa Clara jackets, Freelancers jackets, Cadet jackets, Spirit of Atlanta jackets, or Phantom Regiment jackets. Yet all those corps are represented in Dream.

What we're doing is creating a new corps, where we're all from the same corps. Sure, we still poke fun at each other depending on our junior corps past, but the esprit de corps of Dream supercedes everything else.
