:D Wow, Bill! Whatever happened to Darren Brassard? He was my drum major in 89 when I was aging out. You were the assisstant DM Right?

As far as I know, he moved back to Washington state to be a fireman. He hasn't registered at the VK Alumni Web Page (http://www.adamland.net/vk/). I'd like to know what he was up to. So if anyone hear anything, please post it.

What about '91? Sure it was a little rough around the edges, but "Respect" rocked, and the tenor line had one of the hottest licks I ever heard!

hey bill,

I know I can't wear my old V.K. jackets ( They are way too small )

That doesn't mean I don't love my days in the V.K. I'm proud to have been

in the corps and what we did

John,

I know those were some of the cool years of the VK. Cause I remember being in the Cadet corps when you were in the "A" corps, wanting so bad to be in the coolest corps in the world.

The survey was just made up of the years made finals. because those are the shows that most people have seen.

Couldn't vote because I still love the '83 show!!! I wish someone would bring back the Hawaiian shirts! And I'm not talking to you, Sam! B)

Does anyone from CA have a real 2COOLVK licence plate ?

Yes, well asctually hid at one time don't know if he still does. Tony M. the soloist from 88-89, had that plate on his car, but that was a long time ago.

And I still remember the day getting a cell phone call from my wife saying "Hey, there's a black guy driving a car that just went wizzing by me on the freeway and his license plate says EXVKDM! WHO IS THAT!?" And I said...

......MUST BE ELLIS CARTER!!! DOH!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, I knew it was Billy!! :P

And John McCoy--if you're still reading this...even though I never met you, you're a VK legend, and I'm honored that 1987 made your list of favorite VK shows!

SO CAL DREAM ROCKED!!
