CrownBariDad
This is gonna be a VERY interesting season: Crown up 1.1 from yesterday. Cavies down 1.0 from Thursday. Things are getting tighter. [Yeah, different shows. Cavies could be adding new stuff. All the usual disclaimers. But, still....]
corpsband
This is gonna be a VERY interesting season: Crown up 1.1 from yesterday. Cavies down 1.0 from Thursday. Things are getting tighter. [Yeah, different shows. Cavies could be adding new stuff. All the usual disclaimers. But, still....] Apparently Cavies had a bad run. But I agree it's going to be very interesting. The midwest guys are assuming that the 3pt spread will still exist when the tours merge again. I'm not so sure -- there were major tears and ensemble problems in that midwest swing which have been addressed. Seems like every section is just Fun season :-)
JFitz19
Was at the show tonight. Boston, it appears to me got the hometown bounce. Madison's show is really special. Crowd favorite 2 nights in a row. Really, really impressive. IMHO, Boston will not beat them this year. Question is can Madison clean that beast. They have a long way to go on individual marching technique. I hope so because the show is great, so organic--and I've never been a Madison fan until this year. Crown was also terrific and quite clean for July 2nd. Great show tonight. And congratulations to Spirit and Crossman for vast improvements and fun shows.
Cadetsnare
I just came back from working with the Crossmen drumline for the past 2 days...man, am I sunburnt! The battery and pit made HUGE strides today, as did the whole ensemble. They were much tighter today than they were last night. I had to cut my time with them short, as my son was in an accident today, so I came home to be with him. But, that is a GREAT group of kids who play with heart, and they have a great staff and director, as well. I'm really impressed! I had a great time, and wish I could have stayed longer!
