michsta8
i mean, really. 2.9 pts in 48 hours. looks fishy to me
AgentDark
Care to elaborate? And that's really not that out of the ordinary. Edited July 7, 2011 by Michael Relko
Contreuph
I wouldn't say it's fishy, but it does grab that "holy crap, seriously?" response out of you. Sometimes it's as simple as great cleaning being done in a short period of time, or adding/removing a section in the show for better effect. It happens a lot actually. wesleyrp
2.9 for who? There have been 3 point jumps in corps fir many years attributed for many things. Corps A added new material that improved a couple of capions, overall performance levels cleaned up due to rehearsing, judges opinion differs from person to person! I think in the long scheme of things we like to see corps gradually climb, but every season a corps or 2 make a jump and it surprises folks. Not sure who made the 2.9 jump, guess I didn't pay that close attention. WP Edited July 7, 2011 by wesleyrp
chaddyt
Can't just consider the score. Competition and spreads as well. If a corps can drop 3 or 4 points in 24 hours, why can't one gain 2.9 in 48??
Contreuph
This is dumb Cool story bro. You could also argue that the show they had performed 48 hours before wasn't their best, and then they went and had a phenomenal show. skywhopper
Can someone say who we're talking about? I'm going to look and find out, but I resent having to do so.
jjeffeory
i mean, really. 2.9 pts in 48 hours. looks fishy to me This isn't science, it's subjective scoring... So I'm not surprised that a score could change this much in 1 day.
