Whichever it is, I have a hard time believing that Bacharach -- ie, standard american pop music, American idol fodder, culturally recognizable romcom fare -- is such a wrongheaded choice... It was pretty tasty but a slow part of the drill. I understand they cut is down to make room for other changes in the show. I wouldn't mind hearing it again in the pre-show.
