Kansan Posted September 13, 2011 Share Posted September 13, 2011 OK, the trend in the past for Hornline in the early 80's was the Company Front step over, the Company Front to the Side line and Blast and the lean back and blow. The Battery moves were Snares in a Company front while playing off their neighbors drums, Marching up and down the 50, stick visuals.... Currently we see Brass Lines doing lots of dance moves, Jazz Runs, and puffing out the chest at the end of a strong piece in a power stance. Drums, usually Snares and Tenors do that squating and leaning move in an offset formation. Whats are the next trendy moves going to be? Will we see new stuff in 2012 or just more of the same? who will do totally original moves in 2012 that everyone will copy in 2013. Blue Devils seem to be the trend setter corps.
