Cadets gimmick

Recommended Posts

If only the Cadets had thought of this last year for the demons in their show.

However, I suppose they could still use the idea this year if they do "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire."

Now, would a Euphonium be the best instrument for this sort of thing,

Wow, where was this novelty when I marched and there were brass judges on the field all around me ?

Apparently, the instrument only plays two pitches. And with DCI's rules forbidding fire (as well as non-human animals), I doubt we could sneak this through. Too back, as just the sound of the flames alone would be exactly what a corps would need if it was going for the reproduction of passing gas...literally.

That's the silliest thing I've ever seen.

I 've heard of a brass line being on fire in a performance before....... but not literally.

The only thing I see when watching that are endless plume casualties.
