Recommended Posts

It was just brought to my attention that we lost one of our greatest talents 20 years ago today.

I met him in 1984 at the WCU Director's clinic, where he was a wonderful individual in explaining his concepts and ethos. His work ethic and exuberance for the activity will always ne remembered by anyone who knew or met him.

George inspired many to be their best.

A true motivator. A visual genius. A good man.

I miss him.

RIP George

I often wonder what drill would look like today if he were still alive.

RIP George. We all miss you. So, so much.

Thank you for the tribute.

I'll never forget the first time I met George Z at Star's first camp in Bloomington in 1984. We deeply appreciate the experience he gave our sons through Star. God bless him. RIP dear friend.
