Ghost
66 AL in DC. Bunch of BAC on second level when we hear a Trooper below yell, "Hey Boston, how do you get to the top?" Only one 'Sader replied with "Practice". Believe it was 64 when BAC occasionally would yell out towards the Trooper drumline, during their performance, "Do something!"
DPEmerald
A famous top 12 corps director to me as I was driving the bus: "You don't need brakes if you know how to down shift"
JimF-LowBari
"Oh yeah, think that's one of the professional Drum Corps" Carlisle show mid 70s as Buccs are on the field playing a new chart: Voice #1: "What's the name of this song?" Voice #2: "El Gato Triste" Hawthorne Cab: "Yeah.. means Who Tripped Over the Cat?" My fav... Bucknell in the late 70s coming off the field after not beating a rival. As we're going thur the exit gate heard VERY clearly "Screw City Baby!". Well at least the fans knew we were getting better.... "Do Something": At the 1966 World Open Finals someone (Probably from the Crusaders) yelled out as the Casper Troopers were going into their exit..... "Hey!!!! Drum judges, you can put your clip boards away... They ain't gonna play anymore...." Elphaba WWW
