Who Was THE BEST All-Girl Corps EVER?

Alberta All Girls were a drum corps 1970-1979 (toured Europe 72, 73, 74, 77; competed DCI prelims 75), winter guard 1976-1988 (went to Western Dream but never to WGI finals), stage band 1988-1991 (we have video of 91 ;-) and from 1992-2004 a Vegas style, family orientated show, full of song and dance. Our purpose was to entertain the audience; which we did from 1970-2004

I had to cast my vote for St. Ignatius Girls. I agree with what many have said about the Bon Bons but I watched The Iggy's grow into a real powerhouse, you know. Just as an aside, does anyone remember the St. Catherine Marionettes?

OP should have asked which one you like the best. Hands down it would be the kiltie corps...The Bandettes!

Lionettes in the 60s were pretty formidable, used to beat St. John's, once or twice beat Sertomanaires (early season). I only saw Bon Bons once late in the game, but based on their record, and other's observations I regard them as the best of the era before DCI. After, have to go with Ventures.

You can't make everyone happy! No matter what you say or what poll you put on DCP, there is always someone who has to upset the apple cart. Yes I could have included this corps and that corps. I chose those corps because they were on the top of my head at the time. There were really only a couple of corps that were consistently at the top and that's the reality. I included a few more for the heck of it.
