John Mayer
Dear Spandy (if that is your real name) Just for the record, the "Govies" (as you call them) didn't really try at the Mankato show, so that score doesn't really count, so if you could please give us back our 70, that would be special. camel lips
The drop in MB's score after hitting an 82. How consistent is the judging when its a DCI show using DCA sheets? . The Answer??????? They are not consistent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ive heard it said. "PUT DOWN A NUMBER" Ive seen DCI scores all over the charts regardless of what sheets are used. I do not think they accurately measure the corps performance like a DCA show will head to head. I think the corps getting DCI reviews benefits the corps greatly but as far as the score is concerned I would weigh it with a grain of salt come Monday morning. bill
From what I heard, the Woodbury judges from Saturday were exclusively DCI, whereas the Mankato panel had quite a bit of DCA experience (one of whom might be judging prelims/finals in Annapolis ... just a rumor) Several of the adjudicators have experience in the DCA environment; as example both Don Deems and Paul Hinman, from the Mankato panel, have judged DCA finals at one time or another, if I recall correctly. Fran Haring
Cincinnati Tradition scored a 66.2 tonight at the DCI show in Fairfield, OH. (Results are on dci.org.)
larry p
John Mayer, if that it is your real name, I think some people tried and the wind tried even harder. The 70 score was closer sans the music analysis judge Butt and more importantly Spandy IS his name. Larry P Gov Love (we are HOT)

MelloHorn13
There were 5 judges in Woodbury, 4 in Mankato. Both were two completely different panels. I wouldnt get to worked up over DCI show scores. Everything always fall into place with a full DCA panel.
