Sideways
I am not disagreeing with out, especially when discussing it amongst people within our community. What I am saying above is that I would make it a point not to make it the first show to give to someone that is not familiar with our activity. To use a wine analogy would you pour a bottle of 2000 Chateau Petrus to a person who normally drinks White Zinfandel Certain aspects of drum corps are very much an acquired taste. chris ncsu
Cadets have had plenty, but I'm a big fan of the drill in 1985, 1998, and 2011, if I'm trying to limit myself. Cavies -- 1991 and 2000.
theCHEZman
I agree, Cadets 2011 was great staging, not necessarily amazing drill.
Forevergreen
I like 2011 Cadets visual design. Aside from the outhouse in the middle of the field, I thought 2005 was a better visual design than 2011.....

musclebud
1984 Garfield Cadets. One of Mr. Zingali's greatest masterpieces. He has so many, but this is the one that I think made every other corps realize that the old ways of thinking about visual were gone. My personal favorite is Star 1990, because the end of that show was so intense and each impact point was more than the one that came before. It contains my all time favorite company front as well.
