Gene passed away this morning while awaiting a liver transplant. He marched both in the Guardsmen and Madison Scouts drum lines and joined us for the Alumni Project in 2006. Geno, Tim M. and I roomed together in 82 Scouts in an apartment on University by Camp Randell....many good times! True story, Geno had the honor of carting us snare drummers all around that summer in his white station wagon and on the way to Whitewater for a clinic I lost my drum sticks because one of the floor boards was missing and you could see the highway from inside the car! I liked that he was a positive person and it was obvious he was a good guy. My prayers are for you and your family.
